Personal info

I am a professional forestry graduate. Currently pursuing my doctorate programme in Jammu and Kashmir at Sher-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu as an ICAR- Senior Research Fellow.

Nature was always my inspiration, motivator and companion. This sparkled me up to do take up bachelors in forestry science. I completed my graduation from the Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Mettupalayam securing three gold medals. Forestry as a science is an intricate subject. There is a greater scope for research in forestry; which has to be multidimensional making it unique. After my graduation, I was able to secure Junior Research Fellowship through ICAR for my Master’s degree at God’s own country – Kerala. My research area is forestry and wildlife, with a special interest in policy decisions pertaining to environmental issues. Presently working on long-term studies in forestry.

I am an avid trekker and plant identifier. Indoors, I revel in listening to spiritual discourses.

Inspiration – my Alexander, the great.
